Mobile and web app
Favale Health
Training app for the Favale Method: the trainer prescribes, the student trains and progress flows back to whoever is coaching.

Favale wanted to put its own training method in the student’s pocket instead of relying on a generic gym app. That meant two products in one: an area for trainers to build and follow workouts, and another for students to perform each session.
The app is built in React Native with Expo and runs on phones and on the web from the same codebase. Trainers build workouts and plans in a builder, prescribe the Favale Method’s daily retraining (with an AI-generated draft based on their guidance) and follow students, assessments, schedule and chat. Students follow the workout set by set, log perceived exertion at the end and track goals and progress.
The backend is custom, in NestJS with Postgres and media on R2 storage, on the same infrastructure as the brand’s other systems. The app reads data from Apple Health and Health Connect, and its own design system keeps accessible contrast in light and dark modes.
